Me
I am the mother of six kids and have been married for over 18 years. I’m always asked if our family is a His, Mine and Ours family. No, it’s not.. it’s 100% Ours. I am an author and am fortunate to be able to stay home in order to write and also be a stay at home mom. I have one book published and hope to have book two of the Sonshine Girls series published soon. I am also working on a YA Christian fantasy called Dead Butterflies, a Christian romance as well as another teen romance/fantasy.
Sonshine Girls
The Sonshine Girls series started in 2005 when I sat down to write a teen horror story. That idea quickly change when a small voice nudged me in a new direction. Charli, Kristin, Anna and Jessica are four girls who share their life experiences with tween girls with a message of Christian faith.
Ministry
Well, I would like for my books to be more than just books. I want them to minister to young tweens/teens in a way that makes them say to themselves, “Hey! I matter!” It is true that God loves His children! I want to share that and get through to them that no matter what they are going through now, there is still a beautiful future ahead for those who follow Christ.
